I photographed Cassie and Mike’s wedding… then they moved off to North Carolina for awhile. Now their back with a little one on the way… It’s a boy and I can’t wait to photograph his newborn session when he makes his appearance next month!!! In the meantime, we took some photos of Cassie’s gorgeous belly (no stretch marks!) along with some great shots of her and Mike on a gorgeous spring evening… enjoy!

I photographed Amber and Jacob’s wedding a few years ago and when I walked into their house I was so excited to see that their walls were covered with their wedding photos!!! Nothing makes me happier than seeing my couples enjoying their photos!!!! I was even more excited to meet their little one Griffin, who was beyond adorable so I had to post just a few from this morning’s session!

Mandy was in Molly and Nick’s wedding a few year’s ago, so it was great to re-meet her at my recent mini-sessions in Louisville. Her and her husband have a lovely daughter named Kate so we spent some time at Cherokee park getting her to smile her sweet little smile… enjoy!

What was the best part about your wedding day?

Ben: ”Seeing my future wife walk down the aisle.” Amber: ”Watching Ben smile as I walked down the aisle toward him and him choking up during the vows. Also entering into the reception with all of our friends and family cheering for us! We were so grateful to have everyone who loved and supported us throughout our relationship to celebrate our marriage with us. Everything went so smoothly and perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Ben: Only do it once. (LOL, know you’ll LOVE that one!)

Amber: Don’t stress out over the “little things”, though every detail is important and appreciated by your guests, they won’t know if something isn’t perfect and will enjoy your day just as they experience it.

To the grooms: It IS worth it and you will be so happy to see it all come together and have SUCH a fun day!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Ben: Not one thing!

Amber: I would eat more food! ; ) You are so busy visiting and doing all the things of the reception, you BARELY get to eat (even when you are determined to, like me!). I was thankful to have a room to go to just before entering with our appetizers and wine.

Favorite wedding gift?

Luggage, knife set, china (because ours is so cool and modern ; )) & Keurig.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Ormond Beach, FL (just north of Daytona Beach, FL) and visited St. Augustine, FL (our favorite part) one day. This was a gift from my grandmother who has a timeshare there and let us use it for the week.
